In the early 19th century, the five sons of Mayer Amschel Rothschild settled in Frankfurt, London, Paris, Vienna and Naples, creating a banking network that worked across borders.

Their courier network brought them news faster than governments — a huge market advantage. The Rothschilds financed wars, railways and states. Proof that, in finance, fast information is itself a form of money.
